There's a common saying that goes- Every day is for the thief and one day is for the owner. But, what happens when the owner is also the thief?
There are very few things in life that are as annoying as losing or misplacing your stuff- especially when the item that went missing is something you absolutely needed and you remembered holding or seeing just a second ago.
Misplacing items in your home is imminent to a large extent; however, until tech heads come up with an invention for locating missing items in the home, there are a few things you can do to reduce the amount of stuff you misplace in your house.
One of the most important skills you can possess in your home is Organisational skills. I get it, your busy schedule does not permit you to clean your house daily. However, you can ensure that everything is always in its place at all times. When stuff goes missing in your home, the more organized everything is, the more likely you are to locate your missing items faster.
What if it wasn't your fault and the problem is that your visitors or housemates always meddle with your stuff. Well, to a large extent, what I have noticed from personal experience is that people treat your stuff the way you treat them. If you leave your stuff carelessly lying around all the time, the people who visit you or live with you will help you continue from where you stopped. If you walked into a clean home and everyone's shoes are outside the door, you are more likely to pull your shoes and leave them outside as well- even if that's not something you would normally do.
Keeping your home organized will also help with your frame of mind. I find that I'm happier when I work in an organized environment.
